Job summary

NRG Energy, in collaboration with Vivint Smart Home, seeks a Field Service Technician/Professional to install and service smart home technology while proactively identifying upgrade opportunities. You will act as the face of Vivint, delivering technical excellence and elevating the customer experience.

The role emphasizes consultative sales, hands-on installation, and ongoing growth within a national organization. A valid driver's license and a strong safety mindset are required.

Qualifications

• Sales experience in retail, B2C, or service-based sales is a plus.
• Strong customer relations and integrity when engaging with diverse customers.
• Experience with installation or service of cable/satellite, pest control, construction, or solar is helpful but not required.

Responsibilities

• Install, service, and troubleshoot security cameras, smart locks, and home automation on-site.
• Conduct consultative sales by evaluating homes and recommending upgrades.
• Educate customers on system operation and usage for peace of mind.
• Pursue growth through coaching and leadership development within the national team.
