Job summary

Vivint Smart Home is seeking a Field Service Technician/Professional to install and service cutting-edge smart home technology in customers' homes. You will blend technical expertise with a consultative sales approach to identify upgrades and ensure total peace of mind for clients.

As the face of Vivint, you will install cameras, locks, and automation, evaluate home needs on-site, educate customers on usage, and provide outstanding service.

Qualifications

• Sales experience in retail, B2C sales, insurance, or service-based sales is a major plus.
• Ability to act with integrity while building rapport with diverse customers.
• Experience in cable/satellite install, pest control, construction, or solar is helpful but not required.
• A valid driver's license and a good driving record; ability to pass background checks and licensing requirements.

Responsibilities

• Technical Excellence: Installing, servicing, and troubleshooting security cameras, smart locks, and home automation systems.
• Consultative Sales: Evaluating customer homes to recommend and sell equipment upgrades or service enhancements on-site.
• Customer Education: Training homeowners on how to use their new system to protect their families.
• Growth: Coaching and leadership development to advance within the national organization.
