Job summary

Vivint Smart Home is seeking a Field Service Technician to install and service smart home technology at customer sites. You will also engage in consultative on-site sales, recommending upgrades and services to enhance home protection and automation.

The role emphasizes technical aptitude, customer-first attitude, and growth within a nationally recognized team, with a 4/10 work schedule and comprehensive training and support.

Qualifications

• We hire for attitude and train for skill; experience in retail, B2C sales, insurance, or service-based sales is a plus.
• Ability to act with integrity while building rapport with diverse customers.
• Experience in cable/satellite install, pest control, construction, or solar is helpful but not required.

Responsibilities

• Install, service, and troubleshoot security cameras, smart locks, and home automation systems on-site.
• Conduct consultative sales by evaluating customer homes and recommending upgrades or service enhancements.
• Educate customers on how to use their new system to protect their families.
