Job summary

Vivint Smart Home, an NRG owned company, is seeking Field Service Technicians to install and service smart home technology at customer sites and to proactively upsell upgrades for added protection.

As the face of Vivint, you’ll combine technical skills with sales, enjoying a take-home vehicle, paid training, and a 4/10 schedule with Saturdays. A valid license and comfort working in customers’ homes are essential.

Qualifications

• Sales background or experience in retail, B2C, insurance or service sales is a plus.
• Strong customer-relations skills and integrity when engaging diverse clients.
• Technical exposure in home electronics, cabling or security systems is helpful.

Responsibilities

• Install, service, and troubleshoot security cameras, smart locks, and home automation systems.
• Evaluate homes to recommend and sell equipment upgrades or service enhancements on-site.
• Educate homeowners on using their new system to protect their families.
• Pursue growth through coaching and leadership training within the national organization.
