Job summary

Vivint is seeking a Field Service Professional to install, service and support industry-leading smart home technology across our nationwide network. You will build trusted relationships with customers while delivering exceptional service and helping create safer, more connected homes.

You’ll diagnose issues, perform installations, and identify opportunities for upgrades, earning through uncapped commissions while enjoying comprehensive benefits and a four-day, 10-hour workweek.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver’s license.
• Ability to pass a background investigation and pre-employment drug test.
• Ability to pass all licensing requirements under applicable law.
• Exceptional customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to act with integrity while building rapport with diverse customers.
• Willingness to learn and use technology.
• Ability to work independently while contributing to a team environment.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Install and service smart home security, thermostat and automation systems, including cameras and smart locks.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.
• Educate customers on product features and functionality.
• Deliver an exceptional customer experience at every appointment.
• Conduct onsite evaluations to recommend and sell equipment upgrades or service enhancements.
• Maintain quality, safety and installation standards.
• Manage daily appointments, work orders and equipment.
• Identify service recommendations and referral opportunities when appropriate.
