Job summary

EchoStar is hiring a Field Technician to visit customers’ homes, install and service DISH equipment and smart home products. You will train customers, explain features, and help them get the most from their services.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license required to drive company vehicle
• Willingness to travel; flexible to work evenings, weekends, or holidays
• Physical ability: climb ladders up to 40 ft; lift up to 70 lbs; meet 335 lb weight limit
• Customer Focus: build trust and create a great experience
• Problem-Solving: tackle a variety of challenges on the spot
• Determination: work in tight spaces and all kinds of weather
• Adaptability: handle changes and unexpected tasks with ease

Responsibilities

• Visit customers’ homes, install and service DISH equipment and smart home products
• Teach customers how to use their tech and offer additional services when helpful
• Keep a clean work area and maintain a professional attitude while working independently but staying connected with the team
