Job summary

Vivint Smart Home, an NRG owned company, seeks a Field Service Technician/Professional to install and service smart home technology while identifying upgrade opportunities. You will be the face of Vivint, combining technical work with on-site sales to deliver peace of mind for customers.

The role includes hands-on installation of security cameras, locks, and home automation, plus ongoing coaching, with a 4/10 workweek and a company-provided vehicle and equipment.

Qualifications

• A Sales Mindset:Experience in retail, B2C sales, insurance, or service-based sales is a major plus.
• Customer First Attitude:Ability to act with integrity while building rapport with diverse customers.
• Technical Aptitude:Experience in cable/satellite install, pest control, construction, or solar is helpful but notrequired.
• Requirements:A valid driver's license and a good driving record; ability to pass background checks and licensing requirements.

Responsibilities

• Technical Excellence:Installing, servicing, and troubleshooting security cameras, smart locks, and home automation systems.
• Consultative Sales:Evaluating customer homes to recommend and sell equipment upgrades or service enhancements on-site.
• Customer Education:Training homeowners on how to use their new system to protect their families.
• Growth:Coaching and leadership training to advance within the national organization.
