Job summary

Vivint Smart Home, an NRG owned company, is hiring a Field Service Technician/Professional to install and service smart home technology while proactively identifying and selling upgraded solutions to provide customers with total peace of mind. You will be the face of Vivint, delivering security cameras, smart locks, and home automation systems.

The role combines technical work with on-site sales, offers a take-home company vehicle and gas card, a 4/10 schedule, paid training, and opportunities

Qualifications

Sales experience in retail, B2C sales, insurance, or service-based sales is beneficial.
Ability to build rapport with diverse customers.
Experience in cable/satellite install, pest control, construction, or solar is helpful but not required.
Must have a valid driver's license and clean driving record; pass required background/licensing checks.

Responsibilities

Install, service, and troubleshoot security cameras, smart locks, and home automation systems.
Evaluate customer homes to recommend and sell equipment upgrades or service enhancements on-site.
Train homeowners on how to use their new system to ensure safety and satisfaction.
Grow within the organization through coaching and leadership development.
