Job summary

Vivint Smart Home, an NRG owned company, is seeking a Field Service Technician/Professional to join our nationwide team. You will install, service, and troubleshoot security cameras, smart locks, and home automation systems while identifying opportunities to upgrade solutions to provide customers with total peace of mind.

As the face of Vivint, you will combine hands-on technical work with consultative sales, benefit from comprehensive paid training, a company vehicle, and a 4/10 work schedule

Qualifications

Sales experience in retail, B2C sales, insurance, or service-based sales is a major plus.
Ability to act with integrity while building rapport with diverse customers.
Experience in cable/satellite install, pest control, construction, or solar is helpful but not required.
A valid driver's license and good driving record; ability to pass background investigation and licensing requirements.

Responsibilities

Installing, servicing, and troubleshooting security cameras, smart locks, and home automation systems.
Evaluating customer homes to recommend and sell equipment upgrades or service enhancements on-site.
Training homeowners on how to use their new system to protect their families.
