Job summary

Vivint Smart Home, an NRG owned company, is hiring field service professionals to install and service smart home technology at customers’ homes across the United States. You’ll blend technical work with on-site sales to upgrade solutions and improve peace of mind for customers.

This role includes paid training, a take-home company vehicle and gas card, 4/10 schedule with Saturdays, and opportunities for incentives and advancement within the national organization.

Qualifications

• Experience in retail, B2C sales, insurance, or service-based sales is a major plus.
• Ability to act with integrity while building rapport with diverse customers.
• Experience in cable/satellite install, pest control, construction, or solar is helpful but not required.

Responsibilities

• Installing, servicing, and troubleshooting security cameras, smart locks, and home automation systems.
• Evaluating customer homes to recommend and sell equipment upgrades or service enhancements on-site.
• Training homeowners on how to use their new system to protect their families.
• Benefiting from coaching and leadership training to move up within the national organization.
