Job summary

Vivint Smart Home, an NRG-owned company, is hiring Field Service Technicians to install and service smart home systems. You will diagnose issues, upsell upgrades, and educate customers for peace of mind while representing a leading nationwide team.

The role offers a competitive base with uncapped commissions, paid training, company vehicle, and a 4/10 workweek to balance life and work commitments.

Qualifications

• Experience in retail or service sales is a plus.
• Customer integrity and ability to build rapport with diverse customers.
• Technical aptitude in home tech installation is helpful but not required.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and clean driving record; pass background/licensing checks.

Responsibilities

• Install, service, and troubleshoot security cameras, smart locks, and home automation systems.
• Evaluate homes and perform consultative on-site sales for upgrades.
• Educate customers on system use and safety features.
• Seek coaching and advancement within the national organization.
