Job summary

NRG Energy is seeking a Field Professional to install and service smart home equipment, evaluate customer homes, and upsell enhancements on-site. You’ll educate homeowners on use and safety while pursuing growth within our national organization.

Qualifications

• Experience in retail, B2C sales, insurance, or service-based sales is a major plus.
• Ability to act with integrity while building rapport with diverse customers.
• Experience in cable/satellite install, pest control, construction, or solar is helpful but not required.
• A valid driver’s license and a good driving record; pass post-offer background checks.

Responsibilities

• Installing, servicing, and troubleshooting security cameras, smart locks, and home automation systems.
• Evaluating customer homes to recommend and sell equipment upgrades or service enhancements on-site.
• Training homeowners on how to use their new system to protect families.
• Benefiting from coaching and leadership training to move up within the organization.
