Job summary

Vivint Smart Home, an NRG owned company, seeks a Field Service Technician/Professional to install smart home tech and proactively identify upgrade opportunities for customers across the United States. You will balance technical work with consultative sales to provide total peace of mind.

Qualifications

Sales experience in retail, B2C, insurance, or service-based sales is a major plus.
Ability to act with integrity while building rapport with diverse customers.
Experience in cable/satellite install, pest control, construction, or solar is helpful but not required.
A valid driver’s license and a good driving record; able to pass post-offer background checks and licensing requirements.

Responsibilities

Installing, servicing, and troubleshooting security cameras, smart locks, and home automation systems.
Evaluating customer homes to recommend and sell equipment upgrades or service enhancements on-site.
Training homeowners on how to use their new system to protect their families.
Growth through coaching and leadership training within the national organization.
