Job summary

Vivint Smart Home, an NRG owned company, is seeking Field Service Technicians to install smart home technology and proactively upsell upgraded solutions for total peace of mind. You’ll be the face of Vivint, delivering technical excellence and customer-focused service.

The role involves installing cameras, locks, and home automation on-site, educating homeowners, and growing within a national organization. A valid driver's license and background checks are required; a take-home company vehicle

Qualifications

Valid driver’s license and good driving record.
Ability to pass post‑offer background investigation and licensing as required by law.
Experience in retail, B2C sales, insurance, or service-based sales is a major plus.
Physical ability to lift up to 45 lbs and perform ladder work.

Responsibilities

Install, service, and troubleshoot security cameras, smart locks, and home automation systems.
Evaluate customer homes to recommend and sell equipment upgrades or service enhancements on-site.
Train homeowners on how to use their new system to protect their families.
Grow professionally through coaching and leadership training within the national organization.
