Job summary

Vivint Smart Home, an NRG owned company, is hiring Field Service Technicians to install and service smart home systems across the United States. You will combine technical installation with consultative on-site sales to upsell upgraded solutions, ensuring total peace of mind for customers.

The role offers competitive hourly pay plus uncapped commissions, paid training, a company vehicle and gas card, a 4/10 schedule (including Saturdays), and benefits like 401(k) with company match and paid

Qualifications

• Sales experience in retail or B2C is a plus.
• Customer-focused and able to explain tech clearly.
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record; able to pass background/licensing checks.

Responsibilities

• Install, service, and troubleshoot security cameras, smart locks, and home automation systems.
• Perform on-site consultative selling to upsell equipment upgrades or service enhancements.
• Educate customers on system operation to ensure proper use and safety.
