Job summary

NRG Energy is seeking a Field Service Professional to install, service, and support smart home technology across customer sites. You will build trusted relationships, diagnose issues, perform installations, and pursue additional solutions to upsell where appropriate.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to pass a background check and pre-employment drug test.
• Ability to pass licensing requirements under applicable law.
• Exceptional customer service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Install and service smart home security, thermostat and automation systems, including cameras and smart locks.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.
• Educate customers on product features and functionality.
• Deliver an exceptional customer experience at every appointment.
• Conduct onsite evaluations to recommend and sell equipment upgrades or service enhancements.
