Job summary

NRG Energy is seeking a Field Service Professional in Perkins, OK to install, service and support smart home technology. You will build trusted relationships with customers while delivering excellent service and helping create safer, more connected homes.

You will diagnose issues, perform installations, and pursue additional solutions with uncapped commission opportunities, on a four-day, 10-hour schedule including Saturdays.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Ability to pass background investigation and pre-employment drug test.
• Ability to meet licensing requirements under applicable law.
• Exceptional customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to act with integrity with diverse customers.
• Willingness to learn and use technology.
• Ability to work independently while contributing to a team.

Responsibilities

• Install and service smart home security, thermostat and automation systems.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.
• Educate customers on product features and functionality.
• Deliver an exceptional customer experience at every appointment.
• Conduct onsite evaluations to recommend and sell upgrades or service enhancements.
• Maintain safety and installation standards.
