Job summary

ZF Group in Gray Court, SC is seeking a Plant Smart Factory Lead to drive our digitalization roadmap and deliver Industry 4.0 initiatives that improve safety, quality, and efficiency.

You will lead a cross-functional team, partner with Plant IT, Engineering, Operations, and Quality, and ensure lifecycle support for Power Platform and Power BI solutions while maintaining governance and measurable business value.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical field or equivalent experience.
• 6+ years in manufacturing digitalization, IT, automation, MES, or continuous improvement.
• 2+ years leading teams or cross-functional programs.
• Proven delivery of manufacturing digital and process-improvement projects.
• Knowledge of manufacturing systems, integration, connectivity, analytics, or low-code tools.
• Strong project-management, ROI, and benefit-tracking skills.
• Fluent English with effective stakeholder communication.
• Experience with Lean, cybersecurity standards, Microsoft tools, and relevant certifications is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Smart Factory team and cross-functional contributors across Production, Logistics, Quality, Engineering, and IT.
• Develop and execute the plant digitalization roadmap based on business priorities and regional alignment.
• Manage the digital project portfolio, including charters, budgets, and benefits realization.
• Coordinate plant requirements with regional teams on ERP, MES, PLM, and data connectivity.
• Oversee development, deployment, and lifecycle support of digital solutions, focusing on Power Platform and Power BI.
• Drive process improvement and sustainable adoption using Lean methods and structured problem solving.
• Establish and track measurable business value, coordinating with Finance and process owners.
• Coordinate IT, cybersecurity, data privacy, and security requirements.
