Job summary
BOSCH-HC is seeking a Manufacturing Automation Engineering Lead to drive the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of automation systems across manufacturing operations. You will lead robotics, PLC, HMI/SCADA, and MES initiatives to improve productivity, quality, safety, and cost through advanced technologies.
This role requires leadership of teams, budget planning, and collaboration with IT, operations and plant leadership to deliver strategic automation roadmaps and capital
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Manufacturing, Mechatronics, Automation, or related field) or combination education and experience.
- 7+ years of manufacturing engineering, controls engineering, automation, or related experience.
- 2+ years of leadership or supervisory experience.
- Experience managing automation and capital equipment projects.
Responsibilities
- Lead automation projects from concept to production launch.
- Develop and execute manufacturing automation roadmaps aligned with business objectives.
- Mentor and develop manufacturing engineers and teammates.
- Ensure cybersecurity considerations in industrial control systems and apply Lean Six Sigma and TPM methodologies.
- Collaborate with Operations, Quality, Maintenance, IT and plant leadership to achieve objectives.
