Job summary

Siemens Mobility invites talented undergraduates to join the Building Automation Systems Project Management Internship Program in Summer 2027. The position is based at the Hartford area office (Cromwell, CT) for 10 weeks, full-time 40 hours/week.

Interns will rotate through Smart Buildings and Sustainability, with most time in project management and some exposure to sales and service teams. We seek students pursuing Construction Management, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, IE, CS, or

Qualifications

• Must be enrolled as an undergraduate at a 4-year U.S. college or university.
• Pursuing a degree in Construction Management, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Computer Science, Energy/Sustainability and Built Environment.
• Ability to work 40-hours per week for the 10-week program (May - July or June - August).

Responsibilities

• Rotate through local branch departments focusing on smart buildings and sustainable infrastructure.
• 80% of your time will be spent on project management-related activities (learning how to manage a construction project, on-the-job training, and shadowing, etc.).
• 10% of your time will be spent with the sales department learning how we go-to-market and sell our solutions and services.
• 10% of your time will be spent in our service department, focusing on the service-related tasks needed to deliver world-class service to Siemens customers.
• You may get experience rotating through our core business segments, which include HVAC, Fire/Life Safety, Security, and Energy/Sustainability Systems.
