Job summary

Siemens Mobility is offering a 10-week Building Automation Systems & Service Project Management Internship in the Chicago area. The role is open to undergraduates (rising Sophomore, Junior or Senior) located near Rolling Meadows, IL or within 50 miles, with a 40-hour work week and fixed start windows in Summer 2027.

Qualifications

• Must be current enrollment as an undergraduate at an accredited 4-year U.S. college or university.
• Pursuing a degree in Construction Management, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Computer Science, Energy/Sustainability and Built Environment.
• Ability to work 40 hours per week for the 10-week program (May - July or June - August).
• There is no relocation or housing stipend for this program.
• Eligible candidate must be located within 50 miles of office with access to a reliable vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Review project specifications, drawings, and project documents to establish a project delivery plan.
• Develop and maintain a project schedule and coordinate needs with the project team.
• Manage procurement of supplies and materials to complete projects.
• Participate in project cost reviews.
• Track labor resources and project progress.
• Pursue project-specific change-order opportunities.
• Complete project-specific close-out documentation.
• Rotate through other departments to learn the branch operations.
