Job summary

Johnson Controls in Raleigh, NC seeks a skilled HVAC Controls Engineer to design, configure, and operate complete building control systems including fire, security, and other low voltage subsystems. You will develop software, provide submittals, and coordinate with Johnson Controls field teams to ensure proper operation.

The role requires an associate or technical degree with 3+ years of relevant experience, strong HVAC knowledge, and CAD skills.

Qualifications

Associate or Technical degree, three years of related technical experience or equivalent
Knowledge of HVAC industry and control theory
Experience with building automation systems and low voltage subsystems
Experience integrating low voltage subsystems using industry protocols
Strong computer skills, especially CAD/drafting tools
Travel to job sites as needed to support customer needs

Responsibilities

Design, configure, and operate complete building control systems (fire, security, low voltage subsystems) to meet project requirements
Be accountable to field teams for quality, timeliness and efficiency of designs; develop software and commissioning procedures
Provide detailed information and submittals to communicate design and operation to customers and installation teams
