Job summary

Siemens Mobility invites undergraduates to join the Building Automation Systems Project Management Internship in Summer 2027 at the Laurel, Maryland office. The program runs 10 weeks with full-time hours (40/week) and start dates in May or June 2027.

Interns will rotate through PM, Sales, and Service, gaining exposure to HVAC, safety, and energy systems. You will develop hands-on skills in project delivery, scheduling, procurement, and close-out documentation while working alongside current

Qualifications

Must be currently enrolled as an undergraduate at a 4-year U.S. college or university.
Pursuing a degree in Construction Management, Mechanical/Electrical/Industrial Engineering, Computer Science, Energy/Sustainability or Built Environment.
Ability to work 40 hours per week for the 10-week program (May–July or June–August).
Must be located within 50 miles of Laurel, MD with reliable transportation.
Program does not support visa holders (F1/J1/M1/H1B, OPT/CPT).

Responsibilities

Rotate through departments at the Laurel office, focusing on smart buildings and sustainable infrastructure.
Spend 80% of time on project management activities and scheduling; shadow senior staff.
Spend 10% of time with sales to learn go-to-market strategies.
Spend 10% of time in service department for post-sale tasks.
Rotate through core business segments (HVAC, Fire/Life Safety, Security, Energy/Sustainability).
