Siemens AG invites students to join the Building Automation Design Engineer Internship in the San Francisco Bay Area (Fremont, CA). This 10-week, full-time program offers hands-on exposure to design engineering within smart buildings and sustainable infrastructure.

Interns rotate through multiple departments, primarily focusing on design engineering, with mentorship from the team lead. Start dates span May to June 2027, and on-site work is required up to three days per week.

Qualificações

• Must be current undergraduate engineering student enrolled in a 4-year U.S. college or university
• Pursuing an Engineering-related degree (Electrical/Mechanical/Industrial Engineering, Construction Management, CAD)
• Able to work 40 hours per week for the 10-week program
• Must be able to work on-site up to 3 days a week
• No relocation or housing stipend for this program
• Located within 50 miles of the Fremont, CA office and have access to a vehicle
• Visa restrictions prevent F1/J1/M1/H1B/OPT/CPT participation

Responsabilidades

• Rotate through various Siemens Smart Buildings departments focused on sustainable infrastructure
• Spend ~80% time as a Design Engineer to understand role and activities
• Spend ~20% time with the Design Engineering Team Lead on engineering tasks
