Job summary

Target in San Marcos, TX is seeking a Small Format Team Leader to oversee daily operations in our smallest format store. You will lead hourly teammates, deliver guest experiences, manage workload, and ensure signing, pricing, and stock accuracy across the department.

The role requires strong communication, coaching, and a focus on safety and compliance. Candidates should be 18+, with high school diploma or equivalent, and be prepared for a variable schedule including nights and weekends.

Qualifications

• Minimum 18 years of age.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience in retail or guest service is preferred.
• Ability to lead and develop a team in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional guest service and meet guest experience commitments.
• Lead a team of hourly associates and coach for performance and growth.
• Plan daily/weekly workloads to achieve store sales goals.
• Maintain stock accuracy, pricing, and signage on the sales floor.
• Assist with onboarding and training of teammates and lead during shifts.
