Job summary

ADT, the #1 smart home security provider in the U.S., is seeking a field sales advisor. You’ll visit small business customers, demonstrate value, tailor security and automation solutions, and build trust as a trusted advisor.

You will travel within your designated territory, partnering with business owners to drive growth with uncapped commissions. Training is provided; earning potential starts around $85,000 and can exceed $150,000 for experienced advisors.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Willing to travel within a designated territory using your own vehicle (mileage reimbursed).
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record required; additional licensing may be needed based on location.
• Comfortable using technology to stay organized, efficient, and accountable in a fast-paced sales environment.
• Self-motivated and results-driven, with an entrepreneurial mindset; you thrive on uncovering new leads and closing deals that deliver real value.
• Strong communicator and natural relationship builder, able to consult with customers, understand their needs, and guide them to the right solution.
• Adaptable and flexible; you excel in dynamic environments and enjoy learning new systems and approaches.
• Consumer sales experience is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Listen and build trust with small business owners throughout the sales process.
• Customize each system to fit the business’s layout, operations, and security needs.
• Conduct post-installation follow-ups with customers to confirm commitments were fulfilled.
• Cultivate new business opportunities by identifying and generating new small business leads within your territory.
