Job summary

Banner Bank, a respected community bank in the Pacific Northwest, seeks a Small Business Consultant to deliver an outstanding client experience at branch locations. You will educate clients on digital banking, process routine transactions, and handle account requests with accuracy.

You will grow a lending pipeline, engage in outbound networking, and refer opportunities to various business lines to deepen client relationships. A high school diploma and NMLS are required.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of banker/client relationship consultant or related sales experience.
• NMLS Registration required.
• H.S. Diploma required (an equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered).

Responsibilities

• Provide an exceptional client sales and service experience at branch locations; help train and coach team members.
• Grow and maintain a consumer/business lending pipeline; source referrals through outbound calls and networking.
• Consult with clients on bank products to attract, expand, and retain relationships; reference other business lines as needed.
• Open new accounts, verify changes to existing accounts, respond to inquiries, and resolve related problems for client satisfaction.
• Assist in branch lending processes; educate clients on lending options and complete loan applications and documentation.
• Process routine financial transactions, balance cash drawer, and handle deposits and loan payments.
