Job summary

Zions Bank in Logan, UT is seeking an experienced Business Banker to deliver full-service banking with a focus on sales and service. You will manage a portfolio of Business Banking clients, visit client locations, and build strategic relationship plans to meet revenue and growth targets.

The role emphasizes understanding clients' financial needs, delivering appropriate solutions, and maintaining strong cross-functional collaboration with the branch team. This position is in-office in Logan, UT.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in banking, finance or a related field and 2+ years of credit-associated lending or related experience.
• Knowledge and experience of Business Bank lending, credit analysis preferable in a commercial lending environment.
• Ability to expand loans, client relationships and cross-sell bank products.
• Solid experience with the sales, loan processing and closing processes.
• Skills in applicant interviewing and perceptive character judgment.
• Ability to structure loans and monitor credit performance.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills.
• Solid working knowledge of software applications, including word processing and spreadsheets.
• Manages a small commercial portfolio.

Responsibilities

• Grow, retain, and expand a portfolio of existing Business Banking clients.
• Sources new customers through referrals.
• Contribute to deposit growth through cross-selling and promoting banking products.
• Obtain quality new business via client and prospect calls, referrals, and cross selling.
• Recommend appropriate solutions as a trusted advisor to meet client objectives.
• Meet revenue goals for region and products.
• Understand clients' business/personal financial needs and maintain relationship plans.
• Visit client locations regularly and manage relationships accordingly.
• Ensure client requests are met or referred to the right resource.
• Meet or exceed KPI metrics for portfolio growth, revenue, retention and customer satisfaction.
