Job summary

NorthCoast Asset Management in Stamford, CT seeks a SMA & ETF Trading Associate - Option Strategies to join our team in a trade execution role. You will build, execute and allocate trades across 7,000+ client accounts, research and resolve trade breaks with brokers, and maintain performance data for composites.

You will develop automation for operations using Visual Basic and Python, and cross-train with the operations group to reconcile client data and resolve cash inquiries.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• 2+ years of relevant experience.
• Ability to handwrite 200+ lines of code in Python.
• Proactive communication and follow-up.
• Experience with investment strategies in publicly traded ETF format and separately managed accounts preferred.

Responsibilities

• Build, execute and allocate trades across 7,000+ client accounts.
• Research and resolve trade and position breaks with executing brokers.
• Review client-specific restrictions.
• Maintain trade execution data for TCA analysis and composites results.
• Develop automation processes for operations and trading teams using Visual Basic and/or Python.
