Job summary

NorthCoast Asset Management is seeking an SMA & ETF Trading Associate - Option Strategies for our Stamford, CT office. The role focuses on trade execution, research of breaks, and maintaining data for performance composites across 7,000+ client accounts.

The position requires writing Python code, Visual Basic automation, and a strong Excel skillset. You’ll be in the Stamford office five days a week and collaborate with the operations team on cash-related inquiries and custodial issues.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 2+ years of relevant experience.
• Ability to handwrite 200+ lines of code in Python.
• A positive attitude and high energy level.
• Experience with ETF and separately managed account strategies preferred.
• High attention to detail.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
• Proactive communication and follow-up.
• Knowledge of SS&C Technologies.
• GWP and Visual Basic/Python a plus, training available.

Responsibilities

• Build, execute, and allocate trades across 7,000+ client accounts.
• Research and resolve trade and position breaks with brokers.
• Review client-specific restrictions and data.
• Maintain trade execution data for TCA analysis and composites performance.
• Develop automation for operations/trading with Visual Basic and Python.
