Job summary

SCS Financial is seeking a Trading Associate to support trade execution and daily operations across client portfolios. The role involves collaborating with Trading, Operations, and Advisors to ensure accurate, timely trade processing and cash management.

Responsibilities include maintaining rebalancing workflows, assisting with cash reviews, and contributing to automation efforts using Python, VBA, or Power Automate. A strong Excel skill set and attention to detail are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred in finance, economics, accounting, business, mathematics, or related discipline.
• 1–3 years in financial services, investment operations, trading support, or related role; strong coursework/internship candidates considered.

Responsibilities

• Execute and allocate trades across client accounts and custodial platforms.
• Monitor daily trading workflows and task lists for timely completion.
• Resolve trade, position, and cash breaks with Trading, Operations, Advisors, custodians, and brokers.
• Maintain client accounts in rebalancing software (setup, target updates, rebalancing).
• Support portfolio maintenance, including rebalancing, cash reviews, tax-loss harvesting.
