Job summary

Vestmark is seeking an experienced trader to support SMA/UMA trading, model changes, and execution across client sponsor platforms. You will manage trade orders, perform pre- and post-trade servicing, and ensure timely execution.

The role emphasizes process improvements, cross-functional collaboration, and adherence to client SLAs while mitigating risk. A Bachelor’s degree and 1–3+ years in SMA/UMA are required, with strong analytical skills and MS Office proficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• 1–3+ years of SMA/UMA or wealth management industry experience.
• Strong analytical skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail; able to work well in a team.

Responsibilities

• Proactively identify opportunities to improve trading processes and efficiency.
• Process client model change requests by generating ATB block trade orders and performing controls to mitigate risk.
• Process maintenance requests (new accounts, cash flows, terminations, tax harvests) by rebalancing accounts and routing trade orders for execution.
• Communicate client model changes to Model Only/UMA sponsors per ATB rotation within SLAs with controls.
• Perform Trading Services to connect Vestmark with Sponsors.
• Manage all aspects of trade operations including trade order management, execution review and reconciliation across Vestmark platforms.
