Adoration Health is seeking a Home Health Speech Language Pathologist to join our team serving Fayette, AL and surrounding areas. This PRN role provides patient-centered therapy in home settings with opportunities to collaborate with a supportive multidisciplinary team.

The ideal candidate holds a Master’s in Speech Language Pathology, a current state license, and at least one year of experience, plus BLS/CPR certification.

Qualificações

• Master’s Degree in Speech Language Pathology from an accredited program.
• Active license as a Speech Language Pathologist in the practicing state.
• Minimum 1 year of work experience as an SLP.
• Current BLS/CPR certification as required by state regulations.

Responsabilidades

• Provide 1:1 home health therapy to evaluate and treat speech and language disorders.
• Teach patients to produce sounds and improve voice quality.
• Teach alternative communication methods as needed (e.g., sign language).
• Educate healthcare team, patients, and caregivers on therapeutic exercises.
• Document progress and submit visit notes per agency policy.

Responsibilities

As a Home Health Speech Language Pathologist, You will:

• Communicate with patients to evaluate their levels of speech or language difficulty, determining the need for continued therapy services
• Teach patients how to make sounds and improve their voices
• Teach alternative communication methods, such as sign language, to patients with little or no speech capability
• Educate and guide healthcare team members, patients, and caregivers in specific aspects of therapeutic exercises to support continued progress outside of direct therapy sessions
• Document appropriate progress and clinical notes noting patient's response to therapy and submit visit documentation per Agency policy

Qualifications

• Minimum of Master’s Degree in Speech Language Pathology from a college or university with accredited Speech Language Pathology program
• A minimum of one (1) year’s work experience as a Speech Language Pathologist
• Current, unrestricted license as an Speech Language Pathologist by state in which practicing
• Current BLS (Basic Life Support) or CPR certification in accordance state regulations
