Adoration Health in Columbus, GA is seeking a Home Health Speech Language Pathologist to provide expert one-on-one therapy in patients' homes. You will evaluate, diagnose and treat speech and language disorders, collaborating with families and the healthcare team to tailor plans.

This PRN, weekly-visit role offers flexible scheduling, clinical autonomy, and opportunities for professional growth within a mission-driven home health company.

Qualifikationen

• Master’s degree in Speech Language Pathology from an accredited program.
• Minimum 1 year of work experience as a Speech Language Pathologist.
• Current, unrestricted license as a Speech Language Pathologist in the practicing state.
• Current BLS or CPR certification as required by state regulations.

• Communicate with patients to evaluate speech or language difficulty and determine therapy needs.
• Teach patients how to produce sounds and improve voice quality.
• Teach alternative communication methods (e.g., sign language) for patients with limited speech.
• Educate and guide the healthcare team, patients, and caregivers in therapeutic exercises to support progress outside sessions.
• Document progress and submit visit documentation per Agency policy.

Responsibilities

As a Home Health Speech Language Pathologist, You will:

• Communicate with patients to evaluate their levels of speech or language difficulty, determining the need for continued therapy services
• Teach patients how to make sounds and improve their voices
• Teach alternative communication methods, such as sign language, to patients with little or no speech capability
• Educate and guide healthcare team members, patients, and caregivers in specific aspects of therapeutic exercises to support continued progress outside of direct therapy sessions
• Document appropriate progress and clinical notes noting patient's response to therapy and submit visit documentation per Agency policy

Qualifications

• Minimum of Master’s Degree in Speech Language Pathology from a college or university with accredited Speech Language Pathology program
• A minimum of one (1) year’s work experience as a Speech Language Pathologist
• Current, unrestricted license as an Speech Language Pathologist by state in which practicing
• Current BLS (Basic Life Support) or CPR certification in accordance state regulations
