Stern Therapy Consultants is seeking a PRN Speech-Language Pathologist to assist skilled nursing residents at Bedford Hills Center in Bedford, NH. The role offers an hourly rate of $55–$60 and PRN coverage aligned with department needs.

Responsibilities include assessing communication and swallowing abilities, creating individualized plans, and coordinating with nursing and dietary staff to support daily activities and discharge planning.

Qualifications

• Active NH Speech-Language Pathologist license.
• Strong clinical skills in adult communication, cognition, and swallowing.
• Clear and timely documentation.
• Experience in skilled nursing or geriatric rehabilitation preferred.

• Build individualized care plans around residents' clinical findings and daily priorities.
• Provide interventions for expressing needs, understanding information, attention, memory, and problem-solving.
• Deliver dysphagia treatment and coordinate swallowing recommendations with nursing and dietary staff.
• Teach residents and caregivers practical strategies to use during daily interactions and routines.
• Measure progress, update clinical records, and contribute to interdisciplinary care and discharge planning.

Stern Therapy Consultants is hiring a PRN Speech-Language Pathologist to help skilled nursing residents communicate effectively, navigate daily cognitive tasks, and address swallowing difficulties.

What You'll Do

• Assess speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing abilities to determine appropriate treatment.
• Build individualized care plans around residents' clinical findings and everyday priorities.
• Provide interventions for expressing needs, understanding information, attention, memory, and problem-solving.
• Deliver dysphagia treatment and coordinate swallowing recommendations with nursing and dietary staff.
• Teach residents and caregivers practical strategies to use during daily interactions and routines.
• Measure progress, update clinical records, and contribute to interdisciplinary care and discharge planning.
