Job summary

Bedford Hills Center in Bedford, NH is seeking a PRN Speech-Language Pathologist to help skilled nursing residents communicate effectively, navigate daily cognitive tasks, and address swallowing difficulties.

You’ll assess, treat, and document progress, coordinate with nursing and dietary staff, and provide practical strategies for residents and caregivers to use at home and in daily routines.

Qualifications

• Active New Hampshire Speech-Language Pathologist license.
• Strong clinical skills in adult communication, cognitive, and swallowing assessment and treatment.
• Clear communication and accurate, timely documentation.
• Skilled nursing or geriatric rehabilitation experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing abilities to determine appropriate treatment.
• Build individualized care plans around residents' clinical findings and everyday priorities.
• Provide interventions for expressing needs, understanding information, attention, memory, and problem-solving.

Bring a functional approach to speech-language pathology at Bedford Hills Center. Stern Therapy Consultants is hiring a PRN Speech-Language Pathologist to help skilled nursing residents communicate effectively, navigate daily cognitive tasks, and address swallowing difficulties.

What You’ll Do

• Assess speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing abilities to determine appropriate treatment.
