Yanceyville Rehabilitation And Healthcare Center in Yanceyville, NC is hiring a Speech Language Pathologist to evaluate and treat residents. The role entails creating comprehensive treatment plans, documenting progress, and coordinating with MD orders and the interdisciplinary team.

Applicants should have an MA/MS in communication disorders (ASHA recognized), hold state licensure/registration, and have CFY completion.

Qualifications

• ASHA-recognized MA/MS in communication disorders.
• Current state license or registration as applicable.
• Successful completion of CFY.

Responsibilities

• Provide speech therapy evaluations per MD orders.
• Develop comprehensive treatment plans with goals, frequency, duration and modalities.
• Document progress and update treatment plans monthly.
• Obtain MD orders for evaluations, treatments, recertifications and discharges.
• Supervise junior staff and CFYs as required by state/federal guidelines.
• Attend meetings and participate in interdisciplinary team activities.
• Complete billing for speech therapy services and cover caseload as needed.
• Maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA and resident rights.
