Job summary

Hollywood Casino at Kansas Speedway is seeking a slot technician to maintain and repair slot machines at our Kansas City area location. You will ensure smooth operation of the slot maintenance system and interact with casino staff and guests regarding machine issues.

The role requires basic electronics and mechanical troubleshooting with hands-on use of test equipment, and you will perform preventative maintenance and assist with machine installation and parts stocking.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• One to six months related experience and/or training.
• Electronic/test equipment experience (e.g., board testers, multimeters, oscilloscopes) required.

Responsibilities

• Ensure regulatory compliance with slot machine maintenance (moves, conversions, repair).
• Ensure functionality of the slot maintenance system.
• Interact with Casino Operations personnel and guests while repairing slot functions.
• Assist with slot layout and installation.
• Perform preventative maintenance: clean, inspect, adjust, and test parts.
• Maintain adequate stock of parts for repairs.
• Perform floor maintenance: troubleshoot and repair malfunctions during gaming.
• Assist customers with questions regarding slot machines.
• Provide answers and rectify problems as appropriate.
• Meet uniform, appearance, and grooming requirements.
• Adhere to attendance, regulatory and company policies.
• Keep work areas clean and free of safety hazards.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Perform floor maintenance: trouble shoot and repair machine malfunctions and system problems as they occur during gaming.
• Assist customers with questions and complaints regarding slot machines.
• Provide answers and explanations, and rectify problems as appropriate.
• Meet department uniform, appearance and grooming requirements.
• Meet attendance guidelines of the job and adhere to regulatory, department and company policies.
• Keep work areas clean and free of safety hazards, debris and litter.
• Must adhere to regulatory, department and company policies.
