Job summary

PENN Entertainment is seeking a Slot Machine Maintenance Technician to support our Kansas City location. You will repair slot machines, perform preventative maintenance, and assist with installations while coordinating with casino operations staff.

Ideal candidates have 1–6 months of related experience, strong troubleshooting skills, and experience with test equipment such as multimeters and oscilloscopes. On-site role with competitive benefits.

Qualifications

  • Must be 21 years or older.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • 1–6 months related experience or training.
  • Experience with electronic/mechanical troubleshooting and test equipment required.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain and repair slot machines; perform moves, conversions and repairs as needed.
  • Ensure slot maintenance system functionality and reliability.
  • Interact with casino operations staff and guests to resolve issues.
  • Assist with slot layout, installation, and special projects.
  • Keep stock of parts and perform preventative maintenance.
  • Troubleshoot floor-level malfunctions and safety issues.

Responsibilities
  • Ensure regulatory compliance with all aspects of slot machine maintenance i.e.; moves, conversions, and repair.
  • Ensure functionality of the slot maintenance system.
  • Interact with Casino Operations personnel and guests while repairing slot machine functions.
  • Assist with slot layout and installation.
  • Work on special projects as assigned.
  • Assist in maintaining adequate stock of parts necessary for repairs.
  • Perform preventative maintenance: clean, inspect, adjust, and test various machine parts.
  • Perform floor maintenance: trouble shoot and repair machine malfunctions and system problems as they occur during gaming.
  • Assist customers with questions and complaints regarding slot machines.
  • Provide answers and explanations, and rectify problems as appropriate.
  • Meet department uniform, appearance and grooming requirements.
  • Meet attendance guidelines of the job and adhere to regulatory, department and company policies.
  • Keep work areas clean and free of safety hazards, debris and litter.
  • Must adhere to regulatory, department and company policies.
  • Perform all job duties in a safe and responsible manner.
  • Perform other job related and compatible duties as assigned.
Requirements
  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • One to six months related experience and/or training
  • Electronic/mechanical troubleshooting and use of electronic test equipment experience required (ex: board testers, multi-meters, o-scopes)
