Job summary

Hollywood Casino St. Louis is seeking a supervisory staff member to lead a department, supervise daily operations, and ensure guest satisfaction. You will manage schedules, monitor budgets, and uphold security and compliance standards while delivering outstanding service to guests.

The starting salary is $22.84 per hour, with opportunities for growth within PENN Entertainment and a benefits package including health coverage and retirement options.

Qualifications

• To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Flexible to work all shifts including holidays, nights, weekends, and overtime as business needs dictate.
• Excellent skills in both written and oral communication.
• Must be proficient in Microsoft applications (Excel, Word) and have knowledge of Slot operating systems.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.

Responsibilities

• Provides guidance and daily supervision to staff in the department.
• Adheres to scheduling and coordinates with manager for scheduling with guest satisfaction in mind.
• Supports compliance with departmental budgets.
• Demonstrates superior customer service in line with company standards.
• Ensures security of Slot machines and related gaming equipment during assigned shift.
• Provides authorizing/verifying signature for jackpot payments when applicable.
• Notifies Slot Technicians if any technical issues arise.
• Reports customer concerns to manager.
• Maintains confidentiality in all matters.
• Assists with service light calls as established.

• Responsible for providing guidance and daily supervision to staff in the department. Supports and administers operational goals and monitors achievements of performance and profit objectives.
• Adheres to scheduling and coordinates with manager any scheduling concerns, with attention to guest satisfaction.
• Responsible for supporting compliance to departmental budgets.
• Enthusiastically supports, actively promotes, and demonstrates superior customer service in accordance with department and company standards and programs. Ensures customer service standards are followed by all team members and addresses issues as they arise.
• Ensures security of Slot machines and related gaming equipment during assigned shift.
• Ensures customer service meets established standards.
• Provides authorizing/verifying signature for jackpot payments, when applicable, in accordance with established procedures.
• Notifies Slot Technicians if any technical issues arise.
• Reports customer concerns to manager.
• Maintains strict confidentiality in all departmental and company matters.
• Ensures customer service meets established standards.
