Job summary

Hard Rock Casino Cincinnati is seeking a Slot Shift Manager to lead slot operations on assigned shifts, build guest connections, and mentor team members to deliver outstanding service and profitable play.

You will hire, train, and navigate budgets, monitor compliance, and coordinate with multiple departments to maximize guest satisfaction and revenue while maintaining security and strong teamwork on the floor.

Qualifications

• High school education or equivalent.
• 3–5 years in slot or casino operations.
• 3 years in a supervisory role.
• College degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Creates atmosphere to attract guests and retain loyalty; mentors team members to provide superior guest service.
• Develops relationships with guests through positive interaction focusing on loyalty and profitability.
• Hires, trains, evaluates and motivates staff; monitors floor coverage and labor costs.
• Assists in establishing objectives, standards and guidelines; supports budgeting to maximize revenues.
• Provides information to senior management on market strategies and guest service issues.
• Oversees all aspects of slot guest service; collaborates with Security, Surveillance, VIP Services and Cashiers.
• Works with Slot Performance to ensure equipment is functional and drives excitement for guests.
• Monitors access to sensitive areas to ensure security of slot operations.
• Verifies and authorizes jackpot payouts above $199,999.99 and signs cashier checks.
• Ensures compliance with applicable regulations and internal policies.
• Attends meetings and performs duties regularly; ensures cleanliness of spaces.
• Other duties as assigned.
