Job summary

Kla-Mo-Ya Casino in Chiloquin, OR is seeking a Slot Manager to oversee electronic gaming devices, staff, and floor operations. You will monitor profitability, ensure compliance, and partner with Guest Relations and Marketing to optimize promotions.

Responsibilities include enforcing internal controls, managing inventories, resolving guest concerns, and delivering timely reports to the Casino Manager. Strong leadership and accounting knowledge are essential.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of Internal Controls for the Slot department and Slot hold percentages.
• Knowledge of electronic game devices and progressive systems within a casino.
• Knowledge of basic accounting principles and concepts.
• Ability to comprehend, interpret, and convey rules, regulations, policies and procedures.
• Knowledge of management concepts, principles, and practices applicable to the full range of duties and activities concerned with management, including personnel, finance, and records management systems.
• Ability to communicate orally and in writing. Individual should be able to express self in a clear and concise manner of the purpose of verbal and written correspondence, reports, instructions, etc.
• Ability to function effectively under pressure of time and/or demands of several tasks at once by effectively planning, and prioritizing workload.
• Knowledge and ability to operate computer and various software programs, including spreadsheet application.
• Willingness and ability to work irregular schedules, which includes evenings and weekends.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality of records and information pertinent to the nature of the work.

Responsibilities

• Oversee Slot machines and electronic system operation maintenance and repairs.
• Develop and enforce departmental policies to ensure compliance with Internal Controls.
• Manage inventory and parts/supplies, including sensitive materials.
• Assist Guest Relations and Marketing with video promotions and the Bonus Club.
• Ensure jackpot payout voucher redemption follows departmental policies.
• Plan floor moves and changes in conjunction with governing documents.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure courteous customer service on the gaming floor.
• Resolve guest complaints regarding the Slot department.
• Maintain weekly log of Slot variances and provide timely reports to supervisors.
• Monitor profitability via daily machine analysis and coordinate with accounting/MIS.
