Job summary

Ko-Kwel Casino Resort in Medford, Oregon seeks a Slot Project Coordinator to keep the slot floor running with hands-on technical expertise and strong project coordination. The Slot Project Coordinator is the behind-the-scenes problem solver who keeps the slot floor running at peak performance. This role blends hands‑on technical expertise with project coordination and team leadership, ensuring slot equipment operates reliably while upgrades, moves, and special projects are executed smoothly. With a strong eye for detail and a collaborative mindset, the Slot Project Coordinator supervises the Slot Tech team, partners closely with gaming leadership, and helps deliver a seamless, high‑quality gaming experience for both guests and team members.

What you bring to the table
  • Make sure the space stays safe, clean, and friendly for both guests and the rest of the team; speak up and report any safety concerns to the Safety Committee.
  • Maintains normal operations of Electronic Gaming Machine (EGM) equipment through routine maintenance, repairs, and equipment exchanges.
  • Verifies EGM jackpots and ensures all related processes are completed accurately and in compliance with regulations.
  • Ensures adherence to Title 31 and all applicable gaming compliance requirements.
  • Monitors daily slot floor operations, performs preventative maintenance, completes service orders, and provides technical support to other departments as requested.
  • Maintains working knowledge of promotional events to ensure technical readiness and support during marketing initiatives.
  • Accesses EGM main doors to observe game functionality, inspect error codes, perform paper changes, clear paper jams, and identify and repair malfunctions.
  • Performs routine drop detail functions as scheduled.
  • Supports and promotes casino-wide activities, special events, and marketing promotions, including non-gaming initiatives.
  • Troubleshoots issues using diagnostic equipment and performs advanced technical analysis and repairs.
  • Provides technical support to the Slot Floor team as needed to ensure uninterrupted operations.
  • Leads the ongoing training, coaching, and development of Slot Technicians at all levels.
  • Coordinates closely with the Gaming Operations Manager and Gaming Operations Director on slot projects, floor moves, and operational initiatives, overseeing projects from planning through completion.
  • Ensures proper scheduling of Slot Technicians to meet project timelines and operational needs.
  • Communicates directly with other departments to ensure projects are completed efficiently and with minimal disruption to business operations.
  • Assists with inventory control to ensure availability and proper management of slot parts and equipment.
  • Jump in where needed to support the team and keep things running smoothly. (Other duties as assigned)

  • HS Diploma or GED required. An electronic certificate or related degree preferred.
  • Six (6) years repair or electronic maintenance skills are required, with emphasis on multi-tasking, personal organization and ability to work in a fast-paced environment. May substitute two (2) years technical training in electronic repair or maintenance.
  • This position requires the ability to safely work with hand operated and electric tools.
  • Teamwork, self-motivation and maintenance of confidentiality are expected on a daily basis. The Slot Project Coordinator is expected to maintain an orderly work environment and comply with all required policies and procedures.
  • Must be able to work independently on routine projects.
  • Must be able to read electronic schematics and utilize repair manuals.
  • Comfortable communicating clearly and positively with both guests and teammates.
