Job summary

PENN Entertainment is seeking a Slot Technician to support guests and keep the gaming floor running smoothly. You will perform routine machine procedures, assist with jackpot requests, promote the Slot Player Club, and deliver high-quality customer service to players.

Ideal candidates demonstrate excellent communication, multitasking, and a strong team mindset, while staying physically capable of the job tasks on a fast-paced casino floor.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Must be a minimum of 21 years of age.
• Excellent written/verbal communication skills.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Able to handle multiple tasks; flexible and positive when adjusting to change.
• Attention to detail and follow-through.
• Physically mobile with ability to push, pull, carry, and lift up to 25 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Promote and maintain all steps of the Red Carpet Customer Service program with each patron and employee you contact.
• Resets machines and repairs minor malfunctions.
• Performs routine procedures with slot machine printers, bill validators, adding/removing paper, and minor repairs.
• Handles jackpot requests.
• Provides customer service to slot players (e.g., handles complaints and answers questions).
• Promotes Slot Player club cards and duties include getting new card sign-ups and authorizing/retrieving comps for players.
• Cleans area around machines when time allows.
• Performs all other related and compatible duties as assigned.
• Employees may be required to perform duties outside of their normal job description when necessary.
