Job summary

General-Formulations in Sparta, MI is seeking a production operator/packager to set up packaging lines per sales orders, train helpers, and ensure materials match travelers. The role requires safe operation, proper data entry in Epicor, and adherence to quality standards.

You will handle labeling using Epicor, Bartender, and Label Matrix, inspect blades, and manage inventory while maintaining a clean, efficient work area in a fast-paced team environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; manufacturing experience preferred
• Able to lift up to 60 pounds and stand long periods
• Comfortable working in hot/cold environments and noisy production areas
• Understand and follow sales orders/j travelers for packaging and labeling
• Must wear PPE and follow safety/LOTO rules

Responsibilities

• Set up machines to match sales orders and travelers
• Train helper to safely gather packaging materials per customer specs
• Clean machines and manage blade replacement when dull
• Accurately collect data in Epicor and clock in/out of jobs
• Verify rolls, shipments, and stock to ensure correct quantities
• Create part labels using Epicor, Bartender Print Station, and Label Matrix
• Maintain a clean, safe, and efficient work area
