Job summary

General Formulations is seeking a production operator/packager to set up packaging lines per sales orders, train a helper, and ensure materials meet customer specifications. The role emphasizes safe operation, accurate data entry in Epicor, and correct palletization.

The candidate should be detail oriented, able to work in a fast-paced team, and willing to work overtime when required. Knowledge of labeling tools and material handling is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; manufacturing experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Set up machines according to sales orders or job travelers and match material to orders.
• Train helper to assist safely and gather packaging materials per customer specs.
• Clean machines to maintain quality and longevity, replace dull cutting blades as needed.
• Record data in Epicor systems and ensure correct rolls and inventory are issued.
• Refer to Customer Packaging Book to position products on pallets as required.
• Verify labels using Epicor, Bartender Print Station, and Label Matrix.
