Shurtape Technologies, LLC is seeking a Slitter Operator to set up and run slitter lines, follow safety rules, and maintain production records. You will troubleshoot, perform preventive maintenance, and help drive quality improvements on the shop floor.

This role requires reading measurements, basic math, data entry into SAP, and the ability to train others. Strong manual dexterity and a team-oriented approach are essential in our fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Excellent manual dexterity and organizational skills.
• Ability to follow detailed instructions accurately, work independently, and be a team player.
• Knowledge of production schedules, basic math skills, computer skills, and data entry.
• Ability to read length measurements, read gauges and meters.

Responsabilités

• Set up and operate slitter according to established procedures.
• Maintain safety, housekeeping, and preventive maintenance programs.
• Ensure finishing equipment is working correctly, troubleshoot, perform safety inspections and complete required documentation, perform preventative maintenance on assigned equipment, and initiate work orders for repairs.
• Instruct trainees in all phases of slitter operation and record keeping.
• Record output results on required documents and/or into computer.
