Job summary

Kelly Services is seeking a Slide Cell Assembly Operator for a manufacturing client in the Rochester area. The role involves hands-on assembly of slide cell components, testing, and quality checks in a 3rd shift environment.

This temp-to-hire position starts immediately, with overtime available and a Monday–Friday schedule from 11:00 PM to 7:30 AM. Prior electronics/assembly experience is helpful, but entry-level workers are welcome to apply.

• Previous assembly/manufacturing or electronics experience is a plus.
• Entry-level assembly experience is welcome.
• Basic computer and technology skills required.
• Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity.

Responsibilities

• Assemble slide cell components per procedures.
• Handle small components and electronic parts.
• Secure parts using adhesives and assembly methods.
• Perform visual inspections during assembly.
• Connect assemblies to computer or test systems.
• Perform basic functional checks.
• Identify and report quality issues.

Kelly Services is seeking Slide Cell Assembly Operators for a manufacturing client in the Rochester area. This position is ideal for candidates who enjoy hands‑on assembly work and are comfortable using basic technology to complete quality checks.

What You'll Do

• Assemble slide cell components according to established procedures
• Work with small components and electronic/technical parts
• Secure components using adhesive and other assembly methods
• Perform visual inspections throughout the assembly process
• Connect completed assemblies to a computer or testing system
• Perform basic functional checks to confirm the assembly is operating correctly
• Identify and report quality issues or defects
• Follow work instructions, quality standards, and safety procedures
• Maintain a clean and organized workstation

What We're Looking For

• Previous assembly, manufacturing, production, electronics, or technical experience is a plus
• Entry-level assembly experience is welcome
