Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking a polysomnographic technician to support sleep center operations across multiple Illinois locations. The role involves patient preparation, monitoring, and data collection during sleep studies, with emphasis on safety and data integrity.

The ideal candidate has a background in polysomnography with at least two years of experience, strong scoring skills, and good patient communication abilities. Night shifts are available with differential pay and a 40-hour work week.

Qualifications

• Advanced training beyond High School that includes the completion of an accredited or approved program.

Responsibilities

• Selects and applies monitoring electrodes and probes to appropriate areas of the patient's body.
• Prepares PAP mask fittings and educates patients on sleep testing.
• Schedules and explains the test process to patients; answers questions and assists physicians.
