Job summary

Alkermes in Dayton, OH seeks a Territorial Business Manager to drive sales of sleep-disorder products within the territory and support promotional efforts. The role requires 5+ years in pharma/biotech sales, resident within 25 miles of targets, and up to 80% travel.

Strong selling skills and market knowledge are essential to succeed. The TBM will manage targets, use approved resources, plan territory activities, and collaborate with the RBD and HQ.

Qualifications

• BA/BS is required.
• 5+ years successful pharmaceutical/biotech sales experience required.
• Must live in the geography and/or within 25 miles of key targeted customers in the geography.
• Driver's license must be in good standing.
• Ability to travel up to 80% of the time.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate strong understanding of Alkermes products, disease states and market.
• Sell using approved sales aids and studies with healthcare providers; apply Alkermes selling model.
• Identify and call on appropriate healthcare provider targets with required frequency.
• Utilize resources to increase business and discuss territory performance with RBD.
• Develop business plans and perform administrative tasks accurately and timely.
• Exercises fiscal control of operational expenses (car, gas, supplies, lodging, meals).
• Collaborate with field reps, NDs, Nurse Care Navigators and HQ personnel.
• Abide by Alkermes policies and promotional compliance.
